CORRUGATED BARS

Corrugated steel bars with a circular section core, continuous length (straight), on whose surface there are projections called corrugations, obtained by hot rolling, ensure greater adhesion to the concrete. Corrugated bars have high strength, good ductility (high elongation values), and weldability. They are used in the construction sector as concrete reinforcement in structures with earthquake-resistant designs.

Grafiles

Drawing or rolling wire rods obtain steel bars with a circular section. They have reliefs that guarantee greater adhesion to the concrete and prevent longitudinal movement.

Electro welded meshes

Steckerl Aceros’s electro-welded meshes have the Colombian ICONTEC technical regulation certification. Our meshes are prefabricated with high-strength drawn and cold-rolled steel wires arranged longitudinally, transversally, and orthogonally through electro-welding.

Figured Steel

It is reinforcing steel for reinforced concrete cut, figured in a specialised plant, identified, and transported to the construction site ready for assembly. It is made following the cutting lists and calculated using technical criteria and machines specialised in cutting and folding.

Annealed Black Wire

Steel wire manufactured under the NTC 115 standard, obtained by drawing and with subsequent annealing heat treatment to give it due ductility and easy subsequent use.

WIRE ROD

It is a product with a circular section and smooth surface. It is obtained by hot rolling steel billets that are then cold drawn. This is obtained by a hot rolling process thanks to a mill specially designed for this purpose, known as a steel rolling mill.

Chipa

It is reinforcing steel in a circular section obtained through winding hot-rolled corrugated coils. Chipa is a round cross-section product with a four-rib pattern surface that increases the mechanical anchorage of concrete/concrete in the construction industry.

Steel deck

The Steel Deck is a construction system for mezzanine slabs. It comprises a preformed galvanised steel sheet that gives it rigidity and resistance, on which a concrete pour is made.

CYZ PROFILES

C and Z profiles formed in cold, hot, or galvanised sheets manufactured under NTC 5685 standards. They are lightweight elements that optimise the strength-weight ratio and allow structure weight savings—geometries in millimetres or inches.
